Easter Sunday
What a wonderful Easter weekend!!! Our family got up Easter morning to get ready for church. Mom and dad were coming to pick us three up around 10 and believe it or not- we were all dressed and ready by then ;) Thank you Lucy for helping out. She even bought Kelson's easter dress- it was sooooo adorable and perfect. I loved it! So pink and girly. Anyways, mom and dad arrived and we headed to Pineview Baptist Church- the preacher was my old youth paster who I adored, so I was very excited to go. We actually got to church BEFORE it started- that's a first for us too- hehe! Bro. Joey was so excited to see us all there. Jason even had a few fans there and came to say hi :) Very cute. Kelson was a HUGE hit and really seemed to enjoy the singing portion. She started to get tired, so mom and I took her out for a few min to get her settled and she fell asleep. Bro. Joey is NOT a quite preacher, but I wanted to listen to the sermon, so we went back in, and Kelson didn't wake up at all until the very end. She did SO good. They had a communion service and Kelson was starting at the cracker and juice- so I gave her a sip of it (aka Jesus blood), so she's already headed in the right direction :) hehe! After the service they were having an Easter egg hunt. So we followed all the kids and adults outside to the Easter Egg areas. I went in and grabbed Kelson 2 eggs- everyone kept calling me a cheater and I was like WHAT? She's 7 months she can't walk over there and get em. Well little did I know- they hadn't started the hunting yet- they were all standing there waiting patiently and here comes this adult and steals 2 eggs. haha! Oops. So we got her eggs- some more pics- and went over to Aunt Nin's for brunch.
Sweet Uncle George made Kelson her own pancake breakfast and boy did she love it. We took more pics with the family at Nin's house and we got her cracking up at some things too, so that made for a great time. She is defintly our entertainment now. Such a pretty and fun girl.
Then we went back to the Alberts and took some MORE pics of Kelson in the flowers with her pretty dress, with her Easter presents, and in the bunny suit (thank you Aunt Keri). She is such a good sport. After all the photo sessions, she was tired and done for the day. So we all got into comfy clothes and just hung out together. Watching tv, movies, munching on snacks, and then we had a delicious dinner.
What a great Easter weekend. Thank you family for making it a special one for us. Boy do I have lots of pictures to buy :)

Heartland's song has made it to SPACE...
We got several text messages this past weekend about "I loved her first" being played in space, so I went online Sunday night to see if that was true and it was here is the article I found. HOW AWESOME
Shuttle Crew Wake up for Fifth Spacewalk Day
22 March 2008 12:52 p.m. EDT
HOUSTON - Astronauts aboard NASA's shuttle Endeavour are awake and alert for their record fifth spacewalk in a single flight at the International Space Station (ISS).
Mission Control here at NASA's Johnson Space Center woke the crew at 12:28 p.m. EDT (1628 GMT) with the song "I Loved Her First" by the band Heartland, a song about a father and his daughter played for Endeavour skipper Dominic Gorie.
"Good morning Endeavour, and good morning to you Dom," NASA astronaut Alvin Drew radioed up to the shuttle crew.
"Good morning, Houston, and recently my daughter just got engaged so that song so very special to us," said Gorie, of his daughter Kimberly. "Baby, I love you and wish you the very best."
Gorie and his crew are gearing up for their fifth spacewalk outside the ISS, an excursion by Robert Behnken and Mike Foreman to relocate Endeavour's inspection boom to the station exterior and inspect the outpost's balky starboard solar array joint.
"Thanks for that great song, wonderful morning here for Bob and Mike to get up and get going on a spacewalk, number five out of five," Gorie said. "It's going to be a great one."

Easter Saturday at the Alberts
We woke up to a BEAUTIFUL Easter Saturday! Since everyone (family) had things going on Sunday and there was a chance of rain, we celebrated the holiday a day earlier. We started with some good music- courtesy of DJ Bob- and we all enjoyed my hammock for a while. Kelson stayed with Aunt Nin the night before- we partied at Ruggby's- so she was bringing her over around noon and we were all ancy to have her back with us. It was hilarious. It was like we didn't know what to do without her :) So anyways, the ladies fixed YUMMY appetizers and we nibbled on those for a few hours before dinner. We played a Slap Nuts tournament- Daddy and Mommy ended up winning two games and were the champions. Way to go- esp since mom had never played. I was on a team with Aline and even though she was new to the game, she did great too. Slap Nuts is so much fun and harder than it looks. From the pics you can prob understand it. Each team gets three ropes- which the ropes have golf balls tied to the ends of each side. The point of the game is to try to swing the ropes around the three tiered poles. Top level is 1 pt, middle level is 2 pts, bottom is 3 pts. Depending on what you want you can play to either 15 or 21. Its so much fun. Rob and Jason made the one we have.
While we were having festivies, Kelson and I decided to color eggs. We had so much fun doing this- she got OVER IT rather quickly, but we had a fun time while it lasted. She was trying to overturn the bowls of color, but I managed to keep her back enough. We colored about 2 doz eggs. Elliot- Louise's grandson would have partaked, but he was out of town with his mommy. coloring eggs was so much fun and really brought me back to when I was a little kid. We LOVED to color eggs. Now they have so many options too. Tattoos for your eggs, bright colors, stickers, etc.. I hope that tradition never dies!!! Louise and Mom wrote everyone's name on an egg and hid them while we played more games. So we had an adult easter egg hunt- we had to find our own egg and the surprise was: NO WASHING DISHES for dinner. Well Macie- Heather- our neighbor's little girl- found Kelson's right away for me. Then it took me a few min, but I found mine. They did some GREAT hiding, cause Bob never found his until I hinted where it was. It was fun watching all these adults hunting eggs. Wish I would have gotten some pics, but I was busy hunting myself. Chris was the loser- hehe! We had a great time and about that time it was getting dark and time for dinner. We ate a wonderful smoked ham and scalloped potatoes. I was craving some dessert so after Aunt Weeza and Memere Lucy took Grand Memere back to the home, they picked up some HOT donuts for us. YUM! We watched "Enchanted" - cute cute movie and ate donuts. Great way to end the night.See more Easter Weekend Pics

Baby Shower for Michele...
Natasha, Stacey, Lynn, Karen, and I all hosted an AWESOME baby shower for Michele on March 16th. We had a great time getting all the details done and decor ideas together. There was so much awesome food- I think several recipes were given- hehe- and the block cake was a huge hit. It was made my Stacey's sister. If you are looking for a unique cake- contact Stacey. She's great- and it tasted just as good as it looked. She made my Baby Shower cake too and I loved it. Natasha had so many adorable ideas for party decor- she is really good at things like that. It was such a joy to give something so wonderful, memorable, and sweet to a friend. Michele DOES NOT look like she is going to be pushing out a baby very soon, but you can def tell that Jack is in there now- so precious. Made me miss being pregnant, but then I got over it- hehe. I'll be doing that again in a few years, so no rush. I'm gonna enjoy having Kelson first. Michele got many wonderful presents and had a great turnout. Kelson got Jack a "Jimmy Buffett" lullabies CD- I think it was perfect! I hope she gets good use out of it like I have from my Beach Boys and Eagles lullaby CD's. If you guys are looking for a unique baby shower present- you need to check out the "artist" lullaby CD's. They are great for music lovers. Well I would say that everything went great. Michele got us some cute monagrammed tote bags as a thank you. Good luck Michele..Now... comes the fun part... :)
Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Cave
Jason and I took these pics a few weeks back, but I wanted to share since they were sooo cute. She is such a princess. The weather was GORGEOUS so we decided to treat it like a beach day. Kelson was sooo cute in her beach hat- from Belle- and her little Lion King Attire- from mommy and daddy. I remember buying that outfit- with matching shoes- before Kelson was born thinking it was gonna take forever for her to fit in that. But it sure did go by fast. Its just as sweet as I hoped it would be. She has a thumper onesie with matching shoes too.
We took random pics of Kelson in the cave, around the cave, and sitting on the dock of the cave :) She is so photogentic and as you can tell- a HAPPY baby.
See more pics of Kelson at the cave here

What a busy week
well as you know, Kelson said her first word- Dada and then a few days later her first tooth broke threw. How exciting. She's had a busy week. Lucy had mentioned that it took a while for Jason's teeth to come in, so I'm gonna check his baby book and see exactly how long. She also said that when Jason was getting his braces put on- they had to pull some of this baby teeth. OUCH. I tried to get a picture of her tooth coming in, but it was really blurry and she was not excited us digging her mouth. Such a drama queen :)
