Come on Kelly.. you can do it!

So...I have offically started back to the gym. I went lastnight and did 3 miles on the elliptical- while reading my Harry Potter book- (Jason has my Ipod in the explorer in Nashville) and then I did some free weights. I felt very happy and excited that I motivated myself to go. The reflection in the mirror sure looks different than before :) I forgot to weigh myself, so I'm going to tonight, so I can keep track of reaching my goal weight. It was really easy to go lastnight because I was with Kelson all day, so I didn't feel bad leaving. Tonight I'm going straight home to change and then going to work out, THEN after working out I'm going to pick up Kelson from her Aunt Nin's. Just something I have to do. It does feel good to be exercising again. Since I'm not nursing anymore- and haven't for some time- its been hard getting that weight off- esp since I haven't been eating that great either. I'm done saying- well I had a baby 6 months ago. Before i know it she will be a year old! So... Wish me luck!!!!

First week on the new job..

I was a little unsure on the first day of work whether it was going to be for me or not, but things got better as the week progressed. My group is kinda quiet, but I think its just a matter of getting to know them. Everyone seems to be SUPER sweet and helpful. My boss even let me work from home Wed since i didn't have a sitter for Kelson and I wasn't feeling that well either. I told him that I wasn't trying to slack on my first week of work- he was VERY understanding. It was a task trying to work and watch Kelson. I totally see why Lucy has Theana helping her. But it was nice to not change clothes and log in and boom- I was working. Someday I would love to work virtually. Well see.Its almost Friday! YEA!

I went over to mom's house last Friday to claim some old books that i wanted from our childhood and ran across this old wig that mom had. I put it on Kelson and mom and I could not stop laughing. It wwas the funniest thing ever to imagine her with that much hair. I wish I would have had a jean skirt and cowgirl boots to complete the outfit- hehe! Good times.



Kelson's new thing this week: Holding a note and letting someone tap over her mouth to make the "oooooowwwww" sound- like an Indian chant. Its so cute! Memere taught her that one.
